Discover “The Inferno”, a unique and historic corner located at the foot of the Tower of the Guests. Built at the end of the 17th century, this space hosted the relatives of the monks during their visits, as they were not allowed to enter the monastery. It was also the only place where meat consumption was permitted, in contrast to the strict Carthusian diet based on vegetables, eggs, and fish. A new way to immerse yourself in the daily life of the Carthusian monks.
